Debt Pros Direct may record or monitor calls for quality control and training. Upon completion of a successful program, clients who pay all monthly fees are expected to pay approximately 55% of their enrolled balances. Fees, which can range from 15% to 25% of the balance at the start of the program, are calculated as a percentage of the balance. Programs may last from 12 to 48 months. Before a settlement offer is made, clients may be required to save between 40% and 50% of their balances for each enrolled creditor. The first payment is usually received 4-6 months after enrollment, and subsequent payments are typically received every 3-6 months after the first balance is satisfied. Not all clients complete the program. Estimates may not reflect an individual's results and are based on past performance. The company does not take over balances, make regular payments to creditors, or provide tax, bankruptcy, accounting, legal, or credit repair advice or services. State-specific fees may apply and the program may not be available in all states. Using balance services may negatively affect a person's credit score. Creditors or collectors may file lawsuits or attempt to collect debts. Fees and interest may increase the outstanding balance. Clients may leave the program at any time without incurring fees and can receive all the money in their dedicated account, minus any money the company has earned or fees paid to third-party service providers, as applicable. Before enrolling, clients should read and understand all program materials. Enrollment is not allowed for certain balances, and some creditors may not be eligible for registration because the company does not negotiate with certain organizations. The company does not make performance guarantees, such as that balances will be reduced by a certain amount or percentage or that a client will be free of balances within a specific period.
